THE SINGER ROTATION
Manage singers, not just a list of songs.
A singer submitting three songs should not mean three consecutive turns. StageVotes organizes performances into rounds, helping hosts give singers a fair rotation while keeping the order visible.
You can skip a performance, remove a song, change a selection, or move a song between rounds as the show changes. Singers can manage their own queued songs, while the host keeps control of the live show.

Keep signup decisions in your hands
Set a limit on queued songs per singer, pause additional songs, or close signups when the night is getting full. Host IQ provides queue timing estimates to help you plan; estimates depend on song length and the pace of your show.
FROM PHONE TO STAGE
How a StageVotes karaoke queue works
- Create the show. Choose the venue and decide whether this is casual karaoke or a judged event.
- Share the singer QR code. Singers open the signup page in their phone browser, enter their name, and choose a song.
- Run the rotation. Use the host dashboard to review the queue, add walk-up singers, and manage changes.
- Keep the room informed. Singers see their live queue position, and you can open a display showing the current and upcoming singers.
Optional singer text alerts provide on-deck and up-next notifications for singers who enter their number and consent. Browser signup and queue updates remain available without text alerts.
KARAFUN INTEGRATION
Connect your queue to KaraFun
StageVotes connects to a running KaraFun remote session to send upcoming songs and provide playback controls from the host dashboard. KaraFun remains the music player; StageVotes manages the show.
Save your KaraFun remote link or channel in Account settings, open your show, and select Connect KaraFun in Mission Control. Keep the KaraFun player running during the event.

StageVotes does not include karaoke recordings or a KaraFun subscription. You can still manage the StageVotes queue manually when KaraFun is disconnected.
CASUAL NIGHTS AND COMPETITIONS
Use judging only when you need it
Run ordinary karaoke with judging turned off, or enable scoring categories and audience voting for a competition. StageVotes also supports tournament rounds and optional shared written judge feedback.
A separate People’s Choice contest can run alongside karaoke, with its own entries and voting QR code—useful for a costume contest while the singing continues.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Before your first show
Do singers need an account or an app?
Singers can join through the show’s QR signup page without installing an app or creating an account. A free singer profile adds saved performance history and personal features.
Can I add singers who walk up to the booth?
Yes. Use the host dashboard’s Walk-Up Singer control to add someone directly to the queue.
Can I use StageVotes without a competition?
Yes. Leave judging off and use singer signup, rotation, song management, queue displays, and optional text alerts for a regular karaoke night.
Does StageVotes play the karaoke audio itself?
No. KaraFun or your existing playback setup supplies the music. StageVotes organizes singers and can control a connected KaraFun session.
